Nicole Heath, LPC
I am a certified trauma therapist specializing in working with veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors who are facing the challenges of PTSD, moral injury, depression, and anxiety. I am deeply committed to helping individuals heal from their traumatic experiences, depression, and anxiety to regain a sense of well-being, and rediscover hope and resilience in their lives.
With a compassionate and empathetic approach, I create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore and process the impact of trauma, depression, and anxiety while addressing the root causes. I understand the unique struggles and complexities that veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors face, as well as the profound impact that PTSD, depression, and anxiety can have on their lives.
Drawing from evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), I tailor my treatment to meet your individual needs. Together, we will work collaboratively to identify and address the underlying causes of your symptoms, develop effective coping strategies, and promote long-lasting healing and growth.
I firmly believe in the power of a strong therapeutic alliance and the importance of establishing trust, respect, and empathy in our therapeutic relationship. I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, validated, and understood. I recognize the courage it takes to embark on the journey of healing, and I am dedicated to walking alongside you every step of the way.
Having worked extensively with veterans, first responders, and trauma survivors, I have witnessed the incredible resilience and strength that individuals possess. Through therapy, I have seen the transformative power of healing and the potential for growth and post-traumatic growth. My goal is to empower you to reclaim your life, build meaningful connections, and cultivate a renewed sense of purpose and joy.
I was trained as a counselor through Grand Canyon University. I have gained my experience in inpatient acute and military trauma settings and outpatient treatment settings receiving further training and practice in various evidence-based techniques for trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have been trained and certified in PE through the Strong Star Training Initiative and the University of Pennsylvania Penn Psychiatry.
I am continuously committed to expanding my knowledge and staying up to date with the latest research and therapeutic techniques in trauma, depression, and anxiety treatment. This enables me to provide you with the most effective and evidence-based interventions available.
If you are ready to embark on a journey of healing, I am here to support you. Together, we will navigate the complexities of PTSD, depression, and anxiety, working towards your goals and helping you build the life you deserve. You don't have to face this alone—I am here to help you heal, grow, and reclaim your strength.
