Nicole Heath, LPC
About Me
I’m a certified trauma therapist specializing in supporting Active-Duty service members, veterans, military spouses, first responders, and trauma survivors navigating PTS, moral injury, depression, and anxiety. My goal is to help you heal from the past, rediscover hope, and build a meaningful, resilient life.
With compassion and deep respect for your experiences, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to explore trauma, understand its impact, and address the root causes of distress. I recognize the unique challenges of depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, secondary PTS, and the demands of military and first responder life. Seeking support takes courage, and I honor that strength.
My understanding of military culture is shaped not only by my clinical work, but also by my role as the spouse of a USMC combat veteran. This perspective gives me insight into the realities of deployments, reintegration, operational stress, and the ways trauma can affect both service members and their families.
Professional Background
I earned my counseling degree from Grand Canyon University. I have extensive experience working in inpatient and outpatient military focused programs, as well as previous experience in medical and healthcare settings, which has strengthened my ability to support clients with complex trauma and co-occurring mental health challenges.
I am certified in Prolonged Exposure Therapy through the Strong Star Training Initiative and the University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Psychiatry program. I stay committed to lifelong learning and the latest evidence-based practices in trauma, depression, and anxiety treatment.
